Rou Shou

Rou Shou

In Chinese mythology, Rou Shou is the counterpart dragon to Gou Mang. Together they go as messengers of the sky god. Rou Shou is associated with the western direction and is the herald of autumn, just as Gou Mang heralds the spring in the east.
