Skirimsl
In Icelandic legend, Skirimsl is a giant sea monster or serpent that lives around Lagarfljot. It was believed to harmless because Bishop Gudmund had used his spiritual powers to bind the Skirimsl until Doomsday when, like a great many other serpentine sea monsters, it would break free and bring chaos.
