Naga Pahoda
In Indonesian belief, Naga Pahoda is the king of the serpents who lives as a vast primordial snake in the ocean depths. When the daughter of the god Batara Guru fell out of heaven towards the oceans, Naga Pahoda lay ready to swallow her up, but Batara scattered dust that formed the land so that she might have a place to live. Naga Pahoda rose up and squeezed the newly formed land into many islands, scattering them throughout the ocean.
