Emusha
In Hindu mythology of ancient India, the Emusha is a giant black bear. During the creation when all life was emerging from the churning waters of chaos, the demon Hiranyaksha tried to stop the earth from manifesting. The great bear was sent to use its power to push the earth above the waters and so to defect the powers of evil.

Also to note according to the site http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/hmvp/hmvp21.htm said “there is a similar reference, but there the boar is called “Emusha.” Formerly the earth was only of the size of a span. A boar called Emusha raised her up.”
It’s not giant black bear. It’s giant warthog
