Qebehsenuef

Qebehsenuef is one of the Canopic Animals who is responsible for guarding the intestines of the deceased in the mummification process. Qebehsenuef has the head of a hawk. He is under the protection of the goddess, Serket and hiss names means “he who cools his brother”. Qebehsenuef was told by Horus to refresh the deceased after his struggles to attain the afterlife.
