Zantegeba this is the name of the baboon who struts about the forests of the Bambara people of Mali. His exceedingly lascivious antics are shown annually by a dancer who uses two small sticks as forelegs. He darts into the crowd focusing especially upon female spectators who scream and runway in case Zantegeba comes to rape them. Zantegeba name means “he of the big paw”.
