Phorcids

Phorcids

In Greek mythology, the Phorcids are the children of Ceto, daughter of the Earth mother Gaea, by Phorcys a wise man of the sea. Strangely fair and foul, they include the serpentine Ladon, the monstrous Echidna and the sisterhoods of the gorgons and the Graeae.
