Mihos
The lion god from the ancient Egyptian mythology described as the son of the cat goddess Bastet. His chief centre of worship was at Leontopolis (modern Tell el-Muqdam) in Lower Egypt on the Eastern delta. A temple dedicated to him was erected at Bubastics, a place sacred to his mother. To ancient Greeks, he was known as Miysis.
