Yazata

Yazata

Yazata is often translated as an angel but it means adorable one or one who should be adored. Yazata derives from the earliest documented era of Iranian religion and culture. They are guardians of the planets and celestial bodies. The name of the Yezidi religion may or not be related to the word Yazata.
